About Us

Hello, and welcome to EightTenTwelve!

We are Marcelle and Haley—sisters, nurses, and the heart behind the nursing and social media app designed for people like us. :)We were born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, and both attended Purdue University’s Nursing Program. We grew up in a family of six and can safely say that we love a little chaos.

Most nurses have a story behind their professional passion—here’s ours: We were both born with a congenital heart condition that led to each of us having open heart surgery in 2023. Once the caregivers, we quickly became the patients. Our nurses were incredible. They provided compassion and care on our roads to recovery. Our nurses were also real, genuine people.

EightTenTwelve was born from our shared experiences as nurses and patients. We wanted to create a space where nurses can connect, share, and stay organized—we know our lives don’t stop and start with our shifts! Whether you are just starting out or have been in scrubs for years, EightTenTwelve was created with you in mind.
